Our mini-pupillage programme offers a unique four-day introduction to life at the tax bar. The programme includes talks by members of chambers on what a career in tax involves, lively discussions of tax law and current tax problems, lunch at Lincoln’s Inn, and a moot trial before the First-tier Tribunal. Depending on what is listed at the time, there may also be an opportunity to attend a tribunal or court hearing.

We run two programmes each year, in March and September. The next will take place from 9th to 12th March 2027, and applications are open until Friday, 8th January 2027.

Your application will be considered by the mini-pupillage committee, and we will then let you know whether you have been successful.
